Anyone who grew up walking Southern woods learned the lesson early. The ground keeps secrets. A fallen log, a bed of dead leaves, a patch of tall grass that looks like every other patch of tall grass. The thing you need to see is usually the thing built not to be seen. Politics x Crocs Echo II 'Watch Your Step' comes from that understanding, taking its cue from the intuitive camouflage of the creatures who call the tall grass and the swamp their home, patient and nearly invisible until you are already too close.
The build makes the case. A ghillie-style shroud wraps the Echo II in layered strands that read like grass and moss, the same cover a snake would choose. Beneath it sits a tree-bark upper, while the insole carries a pattern lifted from copperhead skin and hunter orange breaks through at the midsole and underfoot, the one color in the woods that exists to be noticed. An adjustable backstrap keeps everything secure, with branding at the metallic attachments and heel guard.
What you do with it is the point. The shroud comes off, so how hidden you are is a decision rather than a default, and each pair ships with custom Jibbitz charms that keep the story going, a snake bite kit, a hiding snake, and a Politics "P". Camouflage only works if you know when to use it.
